Responsibilities

- Conduct bias audits and ethical risk assessments for machine learning models and autonomous systems
- Develop cross-functional governance protocols for AI deployment in high-stakes domains (healthcare, finance, autonomous vehicles)
- Lead stakeholder workshops to align technical teams on ethical AI principles and compliance requirements
- Monitor emerging AI regulations and industry trends to update organizational policies proactively
- Author whitepapers and training materials to educate teams on responsible AI development practices
- Collaborate with legal teams to ensure AI systems adhere to evolving data privacy laws (e.g., CCPA, GDPR)
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, AI, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in AI governance, data ethics, or technology policy roles
- Expertise in bias detection algorithms and fairness metrics for ML systems
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks, etc.)
- Proven ability to translate ethical principles into technical requirements for engineering teams
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite executives and regulators
- Published work or certifications in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design, OECD AI Principles)
- Experience working with quantum computing, generative AI, or autonomous systems a major plus
