Responsibilities
- Develop ethical governance frameworks for generative AI systems deployed by 2026
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments on autonomous decision algorithms
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into AI pipelines
- Lead stakeholder consultations with policymakers, industry groups, and civil society
- Produce thought leadership on AI ethics through white papers and conference presentations
- Monitor global regulatory landscapes and advise compliance strategies
- Mentor cross-functional teams on responsible AI implementation
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in AI ethics, policy, or responsible technology development
- Expertise in bias mitigation techniques and fairness metrics for ML systems
- Strong background in regulatory frameworks (GDPR, EU AI Act, etc.)
- Experience with stakeholder engagement across diverse cultural contexts
- Publication record in AI ethics or adjacent fields
- Proficiency in Python for ethical algorithm auditing
- Certification in AI governance (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design)
