Responsibilities
- Lead cutting-edge research in generative AI, neuromorphic computing, and autonomous systems
- Develop novel architectures for 2026-era AI applications (e.g., consciousness simulations, hyper-personalized digital twins)
- Collaborate with quantum computing teams to hybridize classical and quantum machine learning
- Author breakthrough publications in top-tier AI/ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, etc.)
- Mentor interdisciplinary teams of engineers and domain specialists
- Secure $5M+ in government/private research grants annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field with 5+ years industry research experience
- Published 15+ peer-reviewed papers in top-tier AI conferences
- Expertise in transformer architectures, reinforcement learning, and distributed ML systems
- Proficiency with quantum ML frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq) and neuromorphic hardware (Loihi, TrueNorth)
- Proven track record of deploying research-grade systems at scale
- Deep understanding of AI ethics and alignment frameworks
- Experience securing federal SBIR grants or DARPA projects
