Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with residential and commercial wiring, installation, and repair projects.
- Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site by strictly adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
- Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment at job sites.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as pulling wire, mounting boxes, and connecting fixtures.
- Respond to service calls and complete documentation for work performed.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project success.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic understanding of math (addition, subtraction, fractions) for measuring materials.
- Strong willingness to learn new skills and follow safety protocols strictly.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
