Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as running conduit, stripping wire, and connecting outlets.
- Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure all work meets local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and effectively.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (OSHA 10, etc.) during employment.
- Strong desire to learn and grow within the trade.
