Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan layouts accurately.
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs on complex electrical equipment and circuits.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times.
- Communicate effectively with clients and project managers regarding progress and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of verifiable experience in commercial or residential electrical work.
- Strong understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA safety standards.
- Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
