Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Support the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems under close supervision.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize electrical materials, tools, and equipment to ensure job sites are efficient and safe.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by laying out wires, fixtures, and equipment as directed by the project manager.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Testing & Inspection: Assist in the testing of electrical systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and meeting local codes.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, providing updates on project progress and ensuring a positive experience.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience in construction or manual labor is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid Oklahoma driver's license and a clean driving record required.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Willingness to Learn: A strong desire to learn the trade and a positive attitude towards hands-on work.
- Tools: Basic hand tools are a plus, but we provide all necessary power tools and equipment.
