Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks on the job site.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform general cleanup of job sites to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials according to blueprints and specifications.
- Transport materials between different job sites as needed.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and work in various weather conditions for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of construction safety procedures and practices.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
