Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Support experienced team members with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by gathering necessary tools, materials, and ensuring a clean, organized workspace in compliance with safety regulations.
- Blueprint Reading: Learn to interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to understand circuit layouts and project specifications.
- Component Installation: Help install wiring, outlets, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
- Material Management: Monitor inventory levels of supplies and report shortages or damaged materials promptly.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: No prior electrical experience required. We are looking for candidates with a strong willingness to learn and a mechanical aptitude.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary for travel to various job sites.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfort with basic arithmetic for measurements and calculations.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
