Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Plumbers: Shadow and support experienced technicians during installations, repairs, and maintenance calls.
- Learn Systems: Gain hands-on training in residential and commercial pipefitting, drainage, and water heater systems.
- Tool Maintenance: Keep work area and tools organized, clean, and in good working condition.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers professionally, answer basic questions, and ensure job sites are left tidy.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and inventory plumbing supplies and materials for projects.
- Site Safety: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines on every job site.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: No prior plumbing experience required; we provide comprehensive paid training.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver's License: Must have a current, valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Problem Solving: Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow instructions carefully.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
