Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and prepare construction materials and tools at job sites efficiently.
- Operate basic construction equipment and machinery under strict supervision.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and installations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment following OSHA safety standards.
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, carrying, and moving heavy objects.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and site plans.
- Report safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or injuries to supervisors immediately.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments.
- Basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and estimating materials.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude toward teamwork.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required.
