Nexus Future Labs is seeking a visionary Chief Metaverse Architect to lead our exploration into spatial computing, immersive Web3 environments, and the convergence of AI and Extended Reality (XR).
In this role, you will define the technical roadmap for our next-gen platforms, ensuring seamless interoperability between virtual and physical worlds. Responsibilities
- Architect Next-Gen Worlds: Design and develop scalable, high-fidelity 3D environments using Unity 6 and Unreal Engine 5, optimized for spatial computing devices.
- Web3 & Blockchain Integration: Implement secure, decentralized infrastructure for digital asset ownership and interoperability within the metaverse ecosystem.
- AI-Driven Interactivity: Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) to create context-aware NPCs and dynamic world states.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure 60FPS+ performance across a wide range of devices, including AR glasses and VR headsets.
- R&D Leadership: Conduct technical research and proof-of-concept development for emerging hardware like haptic suits and eye-tracking interfaces.
- Cross-Platform Deployment: Oversee the deployment of immersive web experiences using WebXR and WebGL technologies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in 3D graphics programming, game development, or VR/AR development.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of C#, C++, HLSL/GLSL, and shader programming.
- WebXR Knowledge: Demonstrated experience building accessible, cross-browser immersive web experiences.
- Portfolio: A robust portfolio showcasing complex 3D environments, physics simulations, or spatial interfaces.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
