Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up barriers, and organizing materials
- Load/unload equipment and materials safely using hand tools and machinery
- Assist skilled tradespeople with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) following OSHA safety standards
- Maintain clean work areas and report safety hazards immediately
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, digging, and carrying heavy objects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum 1 year construction or labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Strong teamwork skills and reliable transportation
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
