Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and concrete pouring tasks
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts, bulldozers) with OSHA certification
- Install scaffolding and temporary structures per engineering plans
- Read blueprints and technical specifications for material assembly
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to safety protocols
- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with material handling
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and safety inspections
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operator license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic blueprint reading and math skills for measurements
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Drug-free workplace compliance required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
