Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, excavation, and material handling using hand tools and equipment
- Perform concrete work including pouring, finishing, and form setup
- Operate power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers) and assist with equipment operation
- Follow blueprints and instructions from supervisors to ensure project specifications
- Maintain clean and organized job sites, including debris removal and waste management
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Assist other trades (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction or labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of construction terminology and safety practices
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- OSHA 10 certification a plus (training provided if needed)
