Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear and prepare job sites by removing debris, dirt, and obstacles.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision of a foreman or lead.
- Assistance: Provide hands-on support to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and masons.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Physical Tasks: Perform physically demanding tasks such as digging, lifting, and hauling materials as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction, general labor, or landscaping is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- License: Valid North Carolina Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Work Ethic: A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to team success.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
