Responsibilities
- Execute physical labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy equipment (bobcats, forklifts) safely
- Assist skilled tradespeople with carpentry, masonry, and framing work
- Maintain job site cleanliness and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions precisely
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Collaborate with diverse crews to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform strenuous tasks
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Flexible schedule including overtime and weekend availability
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
