Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Perform physical labor including excavation, demolition, and debris removal
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and PPE requirements
- Operate power tools and machinery under supervision (concrete saws, jackhammers, etc.)
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized storage areas
- Complete daily safety inspections and incident reports
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions and flexible hours
- Basic tool operation knowledge preferred but not required
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow instructions precisely
- OSHA 10-hour certification (provided upon hire)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
