Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear and prepare construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized working environment.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as assigned by the foreman.
- Cleanup: Maintain cleanliness of the job site by removing debris, trash, and scrap materials daily.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Measurement: Perform basic measurements and site marking when required.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project efficiency.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy manual labor for long periods, including standing, walking, and lifting.
- Strength: Must be able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly without difficulty.
- Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver's license.
- Availability: Ability to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
- Attitude: Dependable, punctual, and eager to learn new construction skills.
- PPE: Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (hard hat, boots, safety glasses).
