Responsibilities
- Assist in site preparation, excavation, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions for precise installations
- Maintain clean, organized job sites to OSHA standards
- Collaborate with carpenters, masons, and other trades professionals
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and physically demanding tasks
- Report safety hazards and equipment malfunctions immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction experience or vocational training
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Physical stamina and ability to stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
