Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks, including framing, drywalling, and site preparation.
- Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload construction materials from trucks and organize job sites.
- Dig trenches, excavate, and level ground according to blueprints.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Perform basic measurements and calculations as needed.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols (OSHA preferred).
- Willingness to learn and take direction from foremen.
- Experience in general labor or construction is a plus but not required.
