Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and prepare construction materials for use on-site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks including carpentry, concrete pouring, and general site preparation.
- Operate heavy machinery and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Measure, cut, and fit materials as directed by the foreman.
- Transport materials between work areas using hand trucks or forklifts.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License is required.
- Ability to work night shifts (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
