Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling, site preparation, and equipment operation
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, carrying, and operating hand/power tools
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Maintain clean and organized job sites to prevent hazards
- Read blueprints and follow verbal/written instructions from supervisors
- Participate in emergency response and site-specific safety drills
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year commercial construction experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification (required)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Must possess reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
