Responsibilities
- Execute manual labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) and hand tools with precision
- Assist skilled tradespersons with carpentry, masonry, and concrete work
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance duties
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality benchmarks
- Ensure job site cleanliness and proper waste disposal procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience in California
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience operating construction machinery (certifications a plus)
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and site layout principles
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in diverse teams
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
