Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including digging, lifting, carrying, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup operations
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws, drills) under proper supervision
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific regulations
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment efficiently
- Participate in erecting scaffolding, temporary structures, and site fencing
- Document daily progress and report safety concerns to site supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or equivalent physical work background
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform strenuous physical tasks
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation to job sites
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Strong work ethic with punctuality and reliability
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and stand for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
