Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials using forklifts, hand trucks, or dollies.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters and electricians, with various tasks.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform basic site cleanup and maintenance to ensure a safe working environment.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, concrete, and other materials as directed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Experience in construction or general labor is a plus but not required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices.
- Team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic.
