Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment on-site and at the staging area.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and power equipment under supervision to perform daily tasks.
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Keep the job site clean, organized, and safe by adhering to site cleanliness protocols.
- Assisting Trades: Provide support to carpenters, electricians, and other skilled tradespeople as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety regulations, including wearing proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as required by project schedules.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and a commitment to showing up on time and ready to work every day.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal instructions from site supervisors.
- Driving (Preferred): Valid driverβs license and access to a reliable vehicle may be required for site travel.
- Attitude: A positive, eager-to-learn attitude is essential for success in this role.
