Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with daily tasks and project requirements.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Prepare job sites by digging, leveling, and clearing debris as directed by the foreman.
- Perform basic measurements and assist in material cutting or fitting.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long durations.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.
- Strong work ethic and a team-oriented mindset.
- Basic math skills are helpful for measuring and material estimation.
- No prior construction experience is necessary; we are looking for the right attitude.
