Responsibilities
- Assist with general construction site preparation, including digging, leveling, and clearing debris.
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Operate basic construction tools and machinery safely under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Help skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with specific tasks as needed.
- Read and interpret basic site plans and layout instructions.
- Perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit with the stamina to perform manual labor in all weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not always required.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols is a plus.
