Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (hammers, saws, drills, etc.)
- Assist skilled tradespeople with layout, framing, and finishing work
- Maintain clean and organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Report safety hazards and equipment malfunctions immediately
Qualifications
- Valid government-issued photo ID (required for daily pay processing)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in outdoor conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety protocols
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Chicago area
- Strong work ethic and punctuality (daily attendance required)
- Willingness to pass pre-employment background check
- No prior experience necessary – training provided
