Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and prepare construction materials and tools for the daily work schedule.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks on-site, including excavation, debris removal, and basic carpentry.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools safely under supervision.
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and carrying materials as required by project specifications.
- Communicate effectively with crew leads and site supervisors regarding project needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school experience is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for reading measurements and blueprints.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Experience in construction or general labor is highly desirable.
