Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in site preparation, including excavation, leveling, and clearing debris.
- Material Handling: Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Equipment Support: Operate and maintain basic construction equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and compressors under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- General Labor: Perform general construction tasks including pouring concrete, framing, or painting as directed by supervisors.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized job site, including trash removal and tool storage.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction labor, landscaping, or general handyman work is preferred but not required.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday through Sunday) consistently.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and working in various weather conditions.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus.
- Driver's License: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required for site travel.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors effectively.
