Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks including digging, lifting, hauling, and carrying materials.
- Operate basic construction equipment and tools safely under supervision.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with various tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site, strictly adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
- Load and unload trucks and delivery vehicles efficiently.
- Read and understand basic blueprints, diagrams, and site layouts.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to supervisors immediately.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from supervisors.
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not always required for entry-level roles.
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.
