Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment onto job sites efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, with daily tasks.
- Operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and power tools.
- Prepare construction sites by digging trenches, setting forms, and clearing debris.
- Mix concrete, asphalt, or other materials as needed for projects.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines and report any hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physically fit and capable of performing heavy labor for extended periods.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.).
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from supervisors.
