Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear, clean, and prepare construction sites by removing debris, rocks, and other obstacles.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Assist Trades: Support skilled professionals, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, by performing basic tasks and carrying supplies.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools and equipment (drills, saws, compressors) in strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Measurements: Assist in measuring, cutting, and fitting materials to specifications.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction labor, landscaping, or general handyman work is preferred but not required.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Reliability: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the San Diego location.
- Communication: Basic ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Documentation: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
