Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in the setup and preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment with care and efficiency.
- General Labor: Perform a variety of manual tasks under the direction of foremen and supervisors, including digging, lifting, and carrying.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and according to guidelines.
- Quality Control: Help ensure work meets project specifications and quality standards.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized job site to prevent accidents and delays.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Driver’s License: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are required.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors.
- Experience: Prior construction or labor experience is a plus but not mandatory.
