Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in clearing, digging, and preparing construction sites for building projects.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure a safe working environment.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction tools and machinery under supervision (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, compactors).
- Assistance to Trades: Support electricians, carpenters, and other skilled laborers as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) and perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Transportation: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Availability: Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and night shifts as required.
- Documentation: Ability to provide valid ID and work authorization documents.
