Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site.
- Operate basic hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and levels.
- Clean and prepare construction sites, ensuring debris is removed and areas are safe.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various tasks.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a secure work environment.
- Perform site measurements and mark layout areas as directed.
- Stand, walk, and work in various weather conditions for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards is a plus but not required.
- Valid Driver’s License preferred.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude.
