Key Responsibilities
Your role will be vital to the success of our daily operations. You will work closely with foremen and other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Perform general physical labor tasks, including digging, loading, and unloading materials.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various site tasks.
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of debris in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
- Transport materials to and from the job site using trucks or dollies.
- Follow all safety protocols and report any hazards or unsafe conditions immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating quantities.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations is a plus.
