Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems and components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with local and national codes.
- Utilize hand and power tools, including multimeters, conduit benders, and wire strippers.
- Install and connect wiring, fixtures, and appliances according to safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Basic understanding of mathematics (for measurements and calculations).
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and heights.
