Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Plumbers: Support senior technicians with residential and commercial installation and repair projects.
- Material Handling: Transport, unload, and organize tools, pipes, and materials at job sites.
- Site Preparation: Prepare work areas by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and ensuring safety compliance.
- Basic Installation: Help install, repair, and maintain piping systems, fixtures, and appliances under supervision.
- System Testing: Assist in testing water and gas lines to ensure proper flow and safety standards are met.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized job site in accordance with company and OSHA safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school certification is a plus but not required.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and emergency call-outs.
- Attitude: Strong desire to learn, a problem-solving mindset, and a professional work ethic.
