As a Laborer, you will be the backbone of our operations, supporting our skilled trades teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize building materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Site Preparation: Clear debris, mark areas, and prepare construction sites for daily operations.
- Assistance: Assist carpenters, electricians, and other skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks.
- Equipment Operation: Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy machinery (forklift, skid steer) safely when trained.
- Site Safety: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Cleaning: Clean work areas, remove waste materials, and ensure the site is left tidy at the end of the shift.
- Measurements: Perform basic measurements and assist with basic framing or finishing duties as directed.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, climb, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Experience: Previous construction or general labor experience is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver's License is a plus.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Work Ethic: Motivated individual who takes pride in a job well done and works well in a team environment.
