Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks, including framing, drywalling, and painting.
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and carry them to designated work sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site by sweeping, cleaning up debris, and removing trash.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools under strict supervision.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
- Help with site preparation, including digging, leveling, and concrete setting.
Qualifications
- Must be willing to learn and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic math skills for taking measurements and reading simple blueprints.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work as part of a team.
