Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties including digging, hauling, and material handling.
- Load and unload building materials from trucks and organize them efficiently at the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters and electricians, with various tasks as directed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in strict accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, plans, and drawings.
- Perform site cleanup and preparation for the next phase of construction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, materials, and safety procedures.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) for extended periods.
- Must possess a valid driver's license (Class C) and have a clean driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors.
