Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Perform basic electrical tasks including pulling wire, stripping insulation, and connecting electrical boxes.
- Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by organizing tools and materials and adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Operate power tools and testing equipment under supervision to diagnose electrical issues.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating electrical loads.
- Strong willingness to obtain required state licensure and certifications.
- Positive attitude and a strong desire to learn a skilled trade.
