Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters and electricians, with daily tasks.
- Operate basic construction equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials (wood, metal, concrete) according to blueprints.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and moving heavy objects.
- Follow all safety protocols and report hazards immediately to supervisors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods and lift heavy items.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and ability to read basic measurements.
