Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using hand trucks, forklifts, or manual labor as needed.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment such as tampers, generators, and air compressors under supervision.
- Trade Support: Help skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with their daily tasks and installations.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area by following all safety protocols and cleanup procedures.
- Measurement: Accurately measure and cut materials to ensure precise fitting during installation.
Qualifications
- Valid ID: Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including standing, walking, lifting, and climbing.
- Safety First: Strong commitment to adhering to OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety guidelines.
- Experience: Previous construction or manual labor experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Tools: Willingness to provide basic personal safety gear (steel-toed boots, hard hat, etc.) if not provided.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow team members.
