Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various on-site tasks including carpentry, masonry, and general labor.
- Load, unload, and organize building materials and tools at the job site.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively under supervision.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Perform basic measurements and assist with blueprint reading.
- Transport materials to and from the worksite using a company vehicle or hand truck.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.).
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating materials.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well within a team.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory for this entry-level role.
