Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using blueprints and technical manuals.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues to determine the best course of repair.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely and accurate project completion.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Document all work completed and maintain accurate service records.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license required (State of Georgia).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and physical stamina.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for job site travel.
