Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials to designated areas efficiently and safely.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by digging, filling, and clearing debris under supervision.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and tools, such as wheelbarrows, pumps, and tampers, as directed.
- Quality Control: Help maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety on the job site at all times.
- Trade Assistance: Provide hands-on support to skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) as needed.
- Documentation: Complete daily logs and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions promptly.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; willing to learn is a must.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods outdoors.
- Driving: Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime when required.
- Work Ethic: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work well in a team.
